Replacing Trunk Carpet

Cut to size
|
|
After dousing the acid spots with Baking soda (to neutralize the acid..don't want the new carpet being eaten through), I laid the carpet in place and used a combination of eyeballs and templates to cut it to size.
For the cutting I just used a standard utility knife, being careful not to cut through the trunk lining.
