This is a closeup of the damaged trunk carpet in the Jeep. I'll be using butcher's paper to make templates of the difficult corner sections, but for the most part will simply lay the carpet in place and cut it.
We decided on a nice grey marine carpet. It's tough, similar in color, and relatively cheap (for such a small piece). Plus I've worked with it before and was pretty confident I could do a good job cutting it.
