Vintage Motor Guide Trolling Motor
Submitted By: sdunt

Description: Well, to go along with the Vintage boat and the Vintage outboard, I think I needed a vintage Trolling Motor, Actually I couldn't pass up this novel model and the price $30 was right as well..

What I picked up on EBay is a Motor Guide trolling motor that was made by Herschede Hall Clock Company, Starkville, Miss. The trolling motor business was spun off from the clocks later and now its part of Mercury Marine.

The only information I have on this come from the Patent filings with the US patent office, so If anyone has any information on this unit I would love to hear from you..

Here's the model tag, actually there's no model number on it only the Patent numbers, 2545086, 2824984, 2877733

And the serial number is 3754

I have only 1 photo of my unit, but several more of another one sold on Ebay as well..

As I begin to work on this I'll post more photo's

here is my unit as pictured on EBay, it does work and the prop is in good shape..
