Vintage Motor Guide Trolling Motor

Well, to go along with the Vintage boat and the Vintage outboard, I think I needed a vintage Trolling Motor, Actually I couldn't pass up this novel model and the price $30 was right as well..

What I picked up on EBay is a Motor Guide trolling motor that was made by Herschede Hall Clock Company, Starkville, Miss. The trolling motor business was spun off from the clocks later and now its part of Mercury Marine.

The only information I have on this come from the Patent filings with the US patent office, so If anyone has any information on this unit I would love to hear from you..
