Description:
|
I bought an 18' Tracker Grizzly and have extended the casting deck, created storage, a livewell compartment, and carpeted it for comfort.
I used 2x4 and 2x3 for the support braces of the extended deck and stoage compartment. They were fastened to the boat using galvanized brackets. The support braces were coated with Rustoleum Spar Urethane Varnish.
The deck itself was 3/4" plywood which was sealed with epoxy resin from US Composites Inc.
I purchased the boat carpet at Lowe's and applied it with 3M Super 77 contact cement.
The hinges and locks were also purchased at Lowe's. The deck is screwed down with stainless steel decking screws.
