I bought this boat in the hopes of being able to take it out on the water this summer. I had my brother in law who said he knew about boats look it over and he told me that it would be a great boat to use. I paid $600 for boat, trailer and motor. Not a bad price for what it is but could have been better.
I plan on going thru the whole boat and fixing it up. I know it will not be a quick project fixing the whole thing. I am a novice to all of this and know next to nothing on how to do any of it. I did buy three books that I am waiting to receive that will tell me how to do fiberglassing and restoring old open bows. The title says it is a 17' but upon measuring it from tip of bow to end of transom, it is actually 20'. Not sure why the difference. I have included some pics of what I have to start with and will continue to update as I go along. I will thank those who email me tips and idea's now as it is all appreciated!
I will start with the minor gouges in the gelcoat and with the interior floor replacement. When that is complete I will start something else.
