Some closer inspection reveals "transom Rot". Ok, not that big a deal. Nidabond transom compound to the rescue.

Inner transom skin removed and old wood cleaned out.

Almost clean. A little sanding and ready to glass the inner skin back in.

Got the stand for the motor built today. Long and tedious, including the shuffling around of my garage.
