The ebay picture that caught my interest

Love the lines - the misty morning the pic was taken. Had to have it....

The boat had been sitting behind an adirondack cabin for decades - per a nosy nieghbor - and was about to be chopped via chainsaw. The best part was that the boat was on blocks, wedged between trees, a shed, and the cabin. Luckily I brought 3 winches and my portable engine crane to pull it out of the jam.

 Tricky to get out...

 Another pic of the jam

Here is another shot of the tight fit...

On the trailer ready for the ride home (which was uneventful, thankfully!)

I needed to take a Chysler 100hp to new owner, decided it was easier to mount it to the boat and trailer rather than lay the motor in my van. Definitely too big for the little mohawk

Maiden Voyage, May 2009. My trusty Johnson 20hp gave a bit of carb trouble after a winter rebuild, but the boat looks great.
This is my super cheap fishing boat - bought it for about $40. Gutted interior, built new stringers (simple on such a small boat) two layer floor with stained Mahagony instead of carpet. Built opening boxes with stained Oak tops for seats - Oak trim on shelves, less than $100 in wood and stain, and she looks great. Washable too!

Taking a breath after the first run. Once my spring bugs were worked out of the outboard, I measured 17mph on GPS with me and two kids - certainly what I expected for such little power.
I have a Big Twin 33hp that will grace the transom for Summer 2010.

Kids love to drive boats. Nothing like watching them grow (fast) in boat pictures.

Returning from a nice day of bass and perch. Simple boats catch the best fish :)
