I purchased this boat and trailer for $400. It has gone through 4 or 5 different owners in the last couple of years. One on them attempted to replace the blown up engine and Suprise sold it without the engine or any of the required parts to make it work. IE exhaust manufolds,motor mounts, drive adapter, thermostat housing...... I am the lead marine service tech at Holzhauers in Nashville IL and am attempting to rebuild this old boat. So the project is... collect parts,install a new engine, replace interior with updated seats and carpet. update cutty with tv/dvd system , install 6500 watt stereo system including 8 mids 4 tweeters and 2 12" subs. and a new paint job. Oh yea and everything in a Zebra theme..
just 1 year and I now have new seats, flooring, carpet, new gauges, bennet trim tabs, 383 strokes sbc with dyno sheets that show 478 horsepower, I rebuilt the alpha one and when it goes I'll update to something that will handle the power. still needs paint, and goes 91.33 mph on gps with 0-1 cross wind on a smooth lake....... and at this point I have reciepts totaling $3848.66. and I must say I felt GREAT passing a 25K Baha...... I'll get pics on here real soon
