Aft berth
Aft berth, all upholstery, carpet and curtains were worn and faded but the boat wasn't in too bad of shape considering its age.

Dinette/Forward berth work
After finishing the mechanicals on the boat the interior work begins, Removed the oddly shaped lattice from the window separating the front berth from the dinette. It will have a curtain once complete.

Complete sanding of the galley, refinished the galley with a satin minwax product that keeps the natural look, typically used on kitchen cabinets at home. I later discovered Sikkens Cetol which is a fantastic product and wish I had done the interior in the product.
Galley being reworked.

Cockpit seats removed
Seats removed and preparing to paint.

Rear portion of the deck being stripped down.
Rear seats and wood trim rails removed

Swim deck removed

Missing are pictures of appx one weeks worth of work done on the hull of the boat repairing blisters with epoxy resin and colloidal silica which was touch since the boat wasn't on jacks but was sitting on pylons just above the trailer.
Sanding prep

After priming, more sanding
I made a mistake and did not thin the primer, that lead to a mess and additional 4 days of work.

I used Interlux Brightsides paint. It took a while to get the hang of it. Interlux recommends a maximum of 10 percent brushing liquid by volume. Due to the temperature I was painting in I had to far exceed that to get the paint to flow properly.
The white is on.....

The gloss appears.

Lucy get her first coat of Red.

Red or not!
I attempted to mix a bit of blue with the Fire Red to trend the paint toward a maroon which was the original color. It turned into a disaster and the Red ended up more of a brownish color. Next coats were pure Fire Red and turned out nicely.

Finishing touches.
