Description:

A man approached me about restoring an old Grumman Skiff he has had a very long time. It has a new motor, and the hull was structurally sound with the exception of the transom being rotten. Its just a small 14ft aluminum skiff, so it couldnt take that much work. Could it? Yea right. Countless hours of sanding and taping for the pinstripes and labeling. And more hours on little details...but he was very happy with the end result

Its a bit difficult to see, but the old decals were beyond repair, and I didnt figure Id be able to get my hands on replacements. So I decided to break out the masking tape and do it myself...turned out pretty decent for an amature...

Well there she is, just before completion. I must say my customer was so happy with the look that he paid me double what I quoted him. Not bad....
