I started to searching to see how bad the problem is

Here is looking towards the stern along the stringer. Glass looks ok but I can put a screw driver through the wood.

Water can be so much fun but it is a real problem for me right now. I started to remove the foam today.

Here is one problem area after I cleaned up. The drain pipe seen here is going to removed. I think I will place a plastic shelf under the foam for drainage.

I was able to remove the front part of the first stringer. As can be seen in this photo the stringer between the bow and rib sat on the cuddy cabin floor decking. This will be changed when I put the stringer back in.
