Description: Installing larger doors and adding wheelchair ramp

First project, opening the doorways to 36 inches so wheel chair can fit.

Max carefully cuts the drywall with a hammer.

Both doors installed and trimed.

First grab bar installed.

Second grab bar installed.

Door replaced leading into shower area.

Inspector Ally approves all changes.

Second project, build a wheel chair ramp.

It will be a floating ramp, first remove old stairs and start framing the sections.

4 x 10 deck leading to the door and then a 36 inch wide ramp at a 12 to 1 pitch.

I dont even know why we used a level, it was perfect everytime!

Ramp is complete, on to the railing.

Day one comes to an end.

Day two, work on railing. what more can I say.

End of day two, about 70% of railing finish with 100% humidity in the air.

Day three, only 95% humidity, work on finishing up railing. Tony took Allison under his wing to install railing. I never seen railing go up so fast.

I had Lauren, she was mostly worried about getting saw dust in her hair!

But Bob the builder would not quite!

Before I knew it Lauren was back to work.
