1)White box. Free got at a pharmacy
2)Gold spray paint. We used Color Place / fast dry (0.97 Wal-Mart)
3)Package of 5 color Bic permanent marker cost less than $3
4)Invisible scotch tape less $1 & double stick tape less than $2
5)Bubble wrap, had some scrap
6)Scissors. To cut bubble wrap & tape
7)Fixative: You can buy at a craft or art store.

3)Wrap box with bubble wrap

4)Bubble side out & use invisible tape. Tape bubble wrap to box (Diagram A) cut the two ends to fit sides C & D using double stick tape on the edges of box & mount bubble wrap. Than trim edge if needed. When trimmed go to step five
How to step 4

How to step 5
5)Spray bubble wrap with light coats paint until looks covered. Let paint dry before each coat. The bubble part might be a bit transparent, that’s Ok. Than spray with fixative so gold paint does not flake off. Do this outside & should not try & paint all sides at once. Let dry & turn box over to do other sides until all is painted.

6)Take the markers and put the colors on the bubbles. You might have to do a second coat on some of the bubbles or just leave the bubble wrap gold.

7)Put a bow or ribbon on package or just leave as is it looks like a box covered in jewels.

Jan & I hope you a happy holiday season & those that get this box are pleased with what you have created for them.
