 The bottom of the heatsink after removing from CPU
|
The bottom of the heatsink after removing from CPU. A rice grain sized bit of thermal compound was placed in the center of the CPU and then the heatsink was fastened down. This is a good spred of paste and very thin.

This is an Opteron 165 running a 1.45 Volts @ 2.6 Ghz. The normal operating speed is 1.8Ghz. Also the GPU is an Nvidia 7800GT also over clocked. Water is a good thing.
