Wood in the nose of the boat was in good shape.

Time to remove wood.

Grinder came in handy to cut out the wood that was glassed into place.

Now this took alot of work. Cut around transom with grinder and then started chipping away at old transom. Once I got the wood out I used the grinder to clean up the back of the fiberglass to mount the new transom too.

Cut new plywood pieces and coated with resin. Position plywood and started fiberglassing them into place.

Moving on to the transom I made a couple of clamps to hold the transom in place so the resin can set up.

Two pieces of 3/4 plywood glassed together using stainless steel screws. Coated all edges with resin.

Position Transom, start laying fiberglass.

In the corners I used a bondo product that was a jelly resin to add a big rad in the corner.

I used interlux paint system, sanded with 220 grit and applied primer with roller and brush.

Decided to add a gas tank in the nose so I glassed a piece of plywood to support the tank.
