Time to remove wood.

Grinder came in handy to cut out the wood that was glassed into place.
Hull, wood removed

Hull, transom removed
Now this took alot of work. Cut around transom with grinder and then started chipping away at old transom. Once I got the wood out I used the grinder to clean up the back of the fiberglass to mount the new transom too.

Foam, wood, and Transom removed. Used grinder to clean up hull and power washed.
Hull, wood removed

New wood fiberglass in place
Cut new plywood pieces and coated with resin. Position plywood and started fiberglassing them into place.

Caps made to hold new transom in place.
Moving on to the transom I made a couple of clamps to hold the transom in place so the resin can set up.

Two pieces of 3/4 plywood glassed together using stainless steel screws. Coated all edges with resin.

In the corners I used a bondo product that was a jelly resin to add a big rad in the corner.
