Description:
|
This is my 14 ' 1958 Fleetform with 1967 Evinrude Lark VII 40 HP restoration. Boat and trailer were purchased for $200, both need LOTS of work. I used the boat a few times to catch the opener of last trout season, but it has been sitting all summer. The outboard (not pictured) was purchased on Ebay for $350 and is in rather good condition despite sitting in the Seattle rain for 3 years.

 Front View

Front View - Windshield missing, plenty of dings in the glass in the bow, holes all through the gunwale where various rod holders have been installed and removed. Red paint on the top is pealing up after sitting out all summer, with black gelcoat showing in some places.
I plan on buying a new trailer in the next couple months, as the one it's on is missing a title (and VIN# for that matter), and is a festering, rusted pile of garbage! If you look closely, you can see behind the boat a gate, and just beyond it, water! An easy trailer swap! Just launch the boat through the gate and tie it to the dock, haul the old trailer to the dump, pick up new trailer, and hope she hasn't sunk by the time I get back!

Rear Side View - Just a slight look at the side. I love how the outside of the gunwale drops down in the stern right to the waterline. Gives it some great looking lines!

 Rear View

Rear View - Transom was rotten, and I cut the old plywood out last year before it sat this summer. Now filled with leaves and gunk, and inhabited by spiders and wasps, I'll have to re-clean the inside.
