Full renovation and repair to the transom.
I have purchased a Microplus 501 Explorer ("circa" 1975) I have totally stripped down the boat ie:- windows removed and all the fitting,s, taken off ready for rubbing down and painting but before i start i have a repair job to do on the transom, the plywood has completley rotted and the only way i could see to remove it was to cut away the inner layer of glass fibre that was holding it in place. I will upload some pictures as soon as i figure out how to do it. Reading through the forum their is a lot of experiance in handling fibreglass, i dont have any so Im'e hoping i can tap into some of this knowlege it will be much appreciated Thank's Riverrat.
