Description:

Planning/hoping/anticipating restoration/revision of "Inviscid", a 1986 Sylvan V171 stern drive bow rider, w/a Mercruiser Alpha One 140hp/3.0L.
Inviscid was purchased new by my father and used until 1998, i retrieved her in January of 2004. Since then, the Mrs. and I purchased another boat to play with, so now i can get back to work on Inviscid.
In her current/initial state, the engine will run barely, I was quoted $900 for a complete rebuild (including another block that will be bored 30 over) from a reputable shop in the area. The entire interior needs redone and i know of a soft spot on the floor , port side next to engine.
Hopefully, the current excitment will continue til the floor is strong and the engine is done, then the excitment of running her will be motivation enough to complete her.
