New Captain's Chair and Upholstery

We don't have a good before picture of this, but We replaced the captain's chair with a new white Captain's chair from Wise. We also reupholstered the side panels with white marine vinyl.
Not only was the side upholstery trashed, but the wood backing that actually made up the panels was completely rotted away. We cut new side panels with pressure treated lumber using what was left of the old ones as a template.
We got a quote for the upholstery locally, for about $600. This was significantly out of our budget, so We thought we'd try to do it ourselves. It would only cost about $50 worth of white marine vinyl to try it and see how it looked.
I think it actually came out pretty nicely. There is an upholstery stage of our boat flooring / new gunwale project, which will feature much more thorough pictures.
